Overview
Senior Electrical Systems Engineer – a fast-growing Defense and Space innovator is seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to drive the development and testing of Spacecraft Systems and Support Equipment. You'll be leading the Design, Integration, and Validation of High-reliability Electrical Systems for next-generation Spacecraft platforms.
Base pay range : $140,000.00 / yr - $170,000.00 / yr. This range is provided by EVONA. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Electrical System Design and Architecture for Spacecraft Integration (Power, Telemetry, Comms, Command Subsystems)
- Own the full lifecycle of Integration and Testing, ensuring regulatory and Mission compliance
- Translate Mission requirements into Engineering specs and Technical Documentation
- Resolve system-level Electrical and Integration challenges in high-stakes environments
- Mentor Junior Engineers and help drive a culture of rapid innovation and technical excellence
Ideal Experience
10+ years' experience in Aerospace / Defense Electrical Engineering – other industries will be considered such as Robotics, Automotive, Medical Devices etc.Systems Level Electrical Design, Integration, and TestingDeep hands-on knowledge of Spacecraft Electronics, Testing, and System IntegrationStrong experience with Altium Designer, LTspice, MATLAB, and related toolsUnderstanding of Environmental constraints (Radiation, EMC, EMI, Thermal)Master's degree in EE or related fieldBackground in National Security Space programsExpertise with Rad-hardened Designs or High-reliability ElectronicsA startup mindset and a passion for problem-solving in fast-paced environmentsPlease note due to the nature of work candidates will need to be willing to go through a Top Secret Security Clearance.
