A Day in the Life of a Levee & Dam Safety Engineer at Hanson

Here's a snapshot of what you would do in this role :

• Lead and manage civil works and flood damage reduction projects, including all aspects of design, scope development, staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and client relations.
• Oversee daily activities of project staff, prepare plans and contract documents, and coordinate with various disciplines.
• Apply sound risk management practices and ensure quality assurance throughout project cycles.
• Participate in staff performance evaluations and coordinate project priorities with technical teams.
• Promote growth of Hanson's civil and geotechnical engineering skills and mentor staff.
• Contribute to strategic business development efforts, including client relationship building, proposals, and regional collaborations.
