job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in an EP Lab within a hospital setting, floating to Cath Lab as needed Caseload averages 10-16 cases per day with adult and geriatric patient populations Shift schedule is four 10-hour days, 6 : 45 AM to 5 : 15 PM, with late coverage required 1-2 days per week No weekend shifts required Uses Pyxis, Epic, and Prucka (GE) systems Three days of orientation provided Scrubs are provided by the hospital Main responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for various EP procedures All candidates must be comfortable with floating according to unit need No RTO allowed during the first week or after booking; up to 7 days RTO approved if not on holidays; must work 2 of 3 major holidays Candidates cannot work more than 5 days in a row or exceed 60 hours per week Modules must be completed prior to start and annually Travelers previously employed by specified health systems must wait 12 months before applying as a traveler Local candidates residing under 50 miles are offered at a local pay rate Travel pairs allowed if assigned to different units Active RN license for NC or Compact state required at start Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required Minimum of 2 years of EP Lab experience including circulating and scrubbing Unit does not accept first-time travelers Experience with Epic charting is required Travelers may be required to float to similar units or affiliate hospitals References from two managers or supervisors within the past 12 months highly preferred, required by start date High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
