Construction Inspector / Checker
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Inspector / Checker to oversee and inspect water and sewer utilities, treatment plants, water storage facilities, civil site work, and commercial buildings across the Statesboro, GA region. This role offers a company vehicle, flexibility to work from home with limited office visits, and the chance to play a key role in ensuring projects meet specifications and quality standards.
What You'll Do :
- Inspect and monitor construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications
- Oversee work related to sewer, water, treatment plants, storage tanks, and site / civil projects
- Maintain daily logs, inspection forms, and provide reports to engineers / owners
- Document work progress through photos and as-built drawing updates
- Act as the engineer's representative in the field, coordinating with contractors and project owners
