job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProficient in basic math for precise measurements and calculations Proficient in the use of calipers and other precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work Forklift operation experience is a plus 3+ years of CNC machining experience Familiarity with HAAS 3- and 5-axis machines Experience with Mastercam is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for compliance with ITAR regulations) 40-hour work week - no weekends or overtime required, but may be optional Clean, organized, and climate-controlled facility (70 F year-round) Modern tooling - no outdated or worn-out setups Positive, focused work environment Room to grow with a company that's scaling up
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC mills
- Read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
- Inspect and verify part quality to tight tolerances - Sometimes down to .0001"
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve machining processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety regulations
