Job Description
The Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) is responsible for the successful execution of small to medium electro-optical system development programs, typically with total budget under management of $1-3 M per year, including laser, lidar, and laser communication systems for space and airborne applications.
This leadership role requires a hands-on, technically adept program manager who thrives in a fast-paced R&D environment. TheTPM will lead multidisciplinary teams, interfacing directly with government and aerospace customers, and ensuring that program scope, schedule, and performance objectives are achieved.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements
Your role will include :
Establish system key performance parameters; and the requirements flow-down to subsystems
Lead engineering and manufacturing teams through the end-to-end development of active electro-optic systems
Assign tasks to program team members and set / communicate program priorities and goals
Keep senior management appraised of status / issues (technical, programmatic, workforce
Experience and expertise required :
BS engineering, MS engineering preferred
5 to 10 years of design, build and test experience
Minimum of 5 years program management experience with electro-optic or laser systems
Systems engineering experience
Strong communication and documentation skills
Excellent customer interfacing skills
US citizenship required
