Teleradiology physician employment in Oregon : Locums Teleradiologist (Oregon Willing to License)Location : Fully RemoteLicense : Oregon Willing to license the right candidatePrioritizing long-term availability only Position Overview

  • Role : Remote reader for ED coverage
  • Backup : Solo coverage other radiologists are on-site in the IR suite
  • Teaching Facility : Yes residents may overscan
  • Trauma Level : III
  • CT Machine : 100% dedicated to ER

Schedule

  • Start Date : January (open availability nights + weekends)
  • Shift Options :

    • Weekdays : 12 PM8 PM or 12 PM9 PM PST (1-hour break)

  • Weekends : 7 AM7 PM PST
  • Duration : Long-term ongoing need (minimum commitment required)
  • Volume : Target of 6065 reads per shift
  • Turnaround Time : 30 minutes for ED cases

    • Case Mix

  • Plain Films (PF)
  • CT
  • Ultrasound (US)
  • MRI : Emergent brain only

    • Technology

  • Workstation Provided : Yes
  • PACS : Sectra
  • Voice Recognition : Fluency

    • Requirements

  • Board Certification : ABR Required
  • Fellowship : Not required
  • Experience : No minimum (must submit 24 months of case logs)
  • License : Oregon Required (client will license if not held)
  • Age Consideration : Providers 65+ must pass physical / mental competency exam per bylaws

  • Seeks providers who will integrate with team and emulate permanent staff role
