Substation Designer - STL (St Louis)

Insight Global is currently seeking a Substation Designer with experience in substation physical design to work in the Power Delivery Substation Department in our St. Louis, Missouri office. This is an in-office position but flexibility is available for a hybrid work environment.

• Perform and direct others in the detailed design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations.
• Perform detailed design of one-line diagrams, general arrangements, elevations, AC service calculations, conduit and cable sizing / routing, substation physical layouts, ground grid layouts and details.
• The successful candidate shall be able to specify and select substation equipment; contribute to substation equipment specifications, proposal development, and project scheduling.
