MedAdventures is urgently hiring a Registered Dietitian to join a reputable PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) center in Los Angeles, CA . This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and experienced Dietitian looking to work in a Monday–Friday, 8am–4 : 30pm schedule with a patient-centered, interdisciplinary team.

Position Highlights :

  • Location : Los Angeles, CA (onsite role)
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00am–4 : 30pm
  • Type : C ontract-to-hire considered

    • Role Overview :

    As a Dietitian, you’ll complete initial and ongoing nutritional assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide nutrition education for participants, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team. This role requires both clinical knowledge and strong collaboration skills to support the health and wellness of older adults.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Participant Care (60%)

  • Complete nutritional assessments and reassessments every 6 months or as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
  • Monitor food intake, dietary restrictions, and therapeutic diets
  • Provide participant and caregiver education on dietary needs
  • Participate in IDT meetings and care planning sessions
  • Make referrals for additional services (e.g., Meals on Wheels)

    • Administrative (40%)

  • Oversee kitchen sanitation checks and equipment safety
  • Monitor lunch / snack menus and suggest changes
  • Attend care planning conferences and department meetings
  • Assist with training of dietary aides
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal nutrition guidelines

    • Qualifications : Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or Dietetics
  • Certification by CDR as a Registered Dietitian (RD / RDN)
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to document in EMRs

    • Preferred :

  • Bilingual (Spanish or other languages a plus)
  • Experience with PACE or geriatric populations

    • State-Specific Licensing :

  • Must meet CA licensing requirements as an RD
