Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Responsible for hiring, supervising, and managing front of house Events staff for Banquet / Catering events
• Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
• Create effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
• Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
• Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
• Records all Banquet Event Orders in the event management system and Micros POS system.
• Assists clients with any problems or special requests to ensure the best personal service to meet guests' needs.
• Ensure that banquet / catering equipment is in proper operational condition and cleaned on a regular basis.
• Ensure all banquet / catering facilities are cleaned, vacuumed, and properly stocked according to anticipated business volume.
• Record deposits, forward checks to Accounting and coordinate billing and credit approval for Banquet / Catering clients.
• Responsible for promoting, planning, coordinating, and supervising the execution of all internal and external event functions ensuring a top-notch experience.
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding the monthly and annual revenue targets by generating brand-new and repeat business through referrals, telephone solicitation, direct mail, outside sales calls, networking, and other community marketing techniques.
• Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
• Assists in other areas of Food and Beverage as needed.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Language Skills

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
