Travel Certified Surgical Technician – First Assist (Days)

Location : Clarksville, TN

Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025

Duration : 13 weeks

Urgent Need – First Assist

Shift Details :

Days : 6 : 45 AM – 5 : 15 PM, 4 ten-hour shifts per week

Call : Two weekday calls per week (5 PM – 7 PM) and one overnight per week (5 PM – 7 AM)

Weekend call : Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM, once every 6 weeks

No floating

Position Overview :

The Travel First Assist Surgical Technician provides high-level perioperative support as a certified First Assistant. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons during procedures, ensuring sterile technique, and providing safe patient care in collaboration with the surgical team.

Requirements :

First Assistant Certification required (ASA or NBSTA)

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program with 2 years’ experience as a scrub tech

Proven First Assist experience

BLS required

Unit Details : Number of beds : 12

Patient ratio : 1 : 1

EMR : Cerner
