Overview :

A small boutique creditors’ rights law firm in West St. Louis County seeks a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to be a part of its dynamic legal team for commercial litigation, retail collection, medical receivables, hospital liens, workers’ compensation, self-pay and insurance claims.

Position Summary :

You will represent and serve creditors primarily in the Associate and Circuit Divisions of St. Louis City and County, St. Charles and Jefferson Counties and effectively manage a caseload in and out of court.

Key Responsibilities :

• Use negotiating and collection skills to collect commercial and private debt
• Review and file pleadings, produce and answer discovery, file garnishments
• Advise and counsel clients to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS Juris Doctor (JD) and Missouri Bar License (required), Illinois Bar License (a plus). 2+ years of practice experience in creditors' rights or collections law. Proficiency in creditors' rights, commercial litigation, and related areas of expertise. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
