Job Title : Network Engineer -II (Hybrid) | Location : Madison, WI | Duration : 12 Months
IT Professional that works in a team responsible for facilities-based systems, including but not limited to surveillance, door control, building automation, and telecommunication. This work will primarily involve network design, planning, installation, and support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment. Engineer, install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks, as well as mitigate issues as they arise. Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates. Work is performed at the agency's nearly 200 locations, state-wide, including many secure sites, often independently. Delegation and improvisational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong troubleshooting skills are required. Day travel is also required, and long days are common. Provides documentation / project tracking and management reporting.
