Description

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor and provide effective performance feedback to team members through recognition, coaching, and disciplinary action.
• Provide proper flow of communication from upper management to team members and vice versa.
• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the project Roads and Grounds Department.
• Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating groundskeeping and road maintenance crews, and disaster recovery operations.
• Assign tasks and work schedule based on priorities and weather conditions.
• Provide performance feedback and address disciplinary issues.
• Oversee snow removal operation including snow plowing and salting.
• Inspect roads and grounds for potential hazards and initiate repairs.
• Inspect and repair perimeter fences.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure the equipment is in proper working order.
• Generate reports on work completed, including progress updates and maintenance needs.
• Monitor work sites for safety hazards and address concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with other departments, the project manager, and client on projects impacting roads and grounds.
• Develop schedules to submit as deliverables IAW the contract.
