Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Pay Range : $1,880 - $2,020 per week ER RN Job Details - Peoria, Illinois Location : Peoria, IL 61637 (Illinois healthcare jobs) Facility : Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 - End : 2 / 9 / 2026) Shifts : 12-hour days (7 : 00am - 7 : 00pm), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Schedule : Rotating weekends and holidays Charting System : EPIC Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or proof of application in process Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required (2 years preferred) Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), TNCC (or TNS) Proficiency in titrating vasopressor and cardiac drips Experience in a teaching hospital or with residents preferred Previous travel nurse assignment experience preferred SANE RN experience is a plus Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms Must pass a comprehensive drug screen (drug-free campus) ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy Emergency Department Assess, triage, and monitor patients with a wide range of medical and trauma-related conditions Administer medications and titrate critical drips (vasopressors, cardiac, antihypertensives, etc.) Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms using Phillips monitors Draw labs and perform bedside procedures as needed Accurately document patient care in the EPIC charting system Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled Support the Emergency Department and, on occasion, float to assist other hospital units (no full team assignments) Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ER RN in Peoria, Illinois, and make a difference in emergency nursing care!
