Your responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver :
Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections of your tractor-trailer and submit the required DOT inspection report.Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and secure keys for off-hour deliveries.Navigate your tractor-trailer safely to various destinations, applying your knowledge of commercial driving regulations.Maintain an accurate driver log in compliance with DOT regulations, including documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions.Unload trailers and deliver products directly into customer premises.Perform other related duties as required.Qualifications needed :
Must be at least 21 years old.Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively to perform job-related tasks safely and efficiently is required.Are you a good fit?
