Staffmark is hiring a Production Team Lead to support operations at our bustling Ottawa, KS, distribution center. This is a long-term temporary role where training is provided, leadership is valued, and every shift is an opportunity to make a difference.

Hours & Pay

Pay Range : $19.00 - $22.00 / hour

Shift Options :

  • Weekday Day : Monday - Thursday | 5 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM
  • Weekday Evening : Monday - Thursday | 4 : 30 PM - 2 : 30 AM
  • Weekend Day : Friday - Sunday | 5 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • Weekend Evening : Friday - Sunday | 5 : 00 PM - 5 : 00 AM

What You'll Do Each Shift

  • Coordinate staffing by scheduling workers and ensuring proper coverage
  • Track and report attendance in timekeeping systems
  • Deliver on-the-job training to new team members
  • Manage shift start procedures and check-ins
  • Support team members with production tasks and questions
  • Monitor quality and safety standards across the line
  • Complete reports and escalate operational issues as needed
  • Communicate updates effectively with both internal teams and customer contacts

    What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of experience in a lead or supervisory role
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting
  • Familiarity with production line environments
  • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with a focus on results
