job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFull-Time | Monday-Friday | Daytime Hours (One Hour 4 hour block per week for Admin time) No Call 100% Ambulatory; Outpatient Only Performs comprehensive skin, hair, and nail examinations and formulates dermatologic diagnoses and treatment plans. Obtains and reviews dermatologic and general medical histories, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic health record. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests such as skin biopsies, fungal cultures, blood work, and imaging studies as appropriate for dermatologic conditions. Determines and implements evidence-based treatment plans for a wide range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, and skin cancers). Monitors patient progress, evaluates treatment effectiveness, and modifies care plans as clinically indicated. Collaboration 4 physicians, 9 residents, Bolstering our Clinical Presence in the Community. NP Certification is required. (Open to New Grads) Experience performing Dermatologic Procedures is preferred but not required. On the job training will be provided as needed. Ability to work with physicians as well as residents and fellows. Banner University Medical Group is growing and interviewing Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional patient care services as part of the Dermatology team. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work with a robust team offering different procedure types and complexity levels. They will also assist in working up consults and managing patients.
- Evaluation of the daily schedule of procedures to determine where skills set will be best utilized.
- Participation in patient case management including prescribing additional procedures.
- Administration and order management of medications.
