• About the Opportunity :

We are seeking

• two Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians
• for a
• locum tenens hospitalist
• opportunity at the
• Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center
• in Clarksburg, WV. This federal contract offers the chance to provide critical inpatient care to our nation's Veterans.
• Shifts :
• 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM | 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
• Schedule :
• Rotating shifts with 24 / 7 coverage, including weekends and holidays
• Responsibilities Include :
• Admit and manage all hospitalized patients
• Conduct physical exams, evaluations, and write diagnostic orders
• Perform common inpatient procedures (e.g., lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, NG tube insertion)
• Run codes and rapid response teams
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty teams
• Document care in VA's CPRS system
• Qualifications :
• Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Valid, unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory
• Current
• BLS
• and
• ACLS
• certifications
• U.S. citizenship (required for VA credentialing)
• Prior VA experience a plus
