About The Position

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years of ICU experience

License : Valid RN license

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have : ACLS

ICU experience

Client experience preferred

Description :

The position is for an ICU nurse in a 12-bed unit.

Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1 : 2.

The unit has staffing that includes unit secretaries and tech availability.

The unit utilizes Baxter pumps for patient care.

Documentation is done through a specified electronic system.

Nurses are expected to self-schedule based on unit needs.

Six weekend shifts are required per period.

Travelers may float to other ICUs or step-down units as needed.

Experience with neurology post-thrombectomy and TPA patients is preferred.

Care of post-neurosurgery patients is also required.

Procedures performed on the unit include CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring.

Candidates must adhere to the dress code of navy blue scrubs.

Unit specific policies and guidelines will be provided.

Awards and recognition for the department will be shared with prospective candidates.

Additional information about new equipment, technology, and staff experience will be available.
