• Duties : - Transplant Call, screening / accepting / declining deceased donor kidneys - Collaborate w / the on-call Transplant Coordinator to bring transplant candidate in for potential transplant - Rounding on transplant patients in the hospital less than 90 days from transplant in collaboration w / the Transplant Nephrologist. - Collaborate w / IP staff, Tx Nephrologist & Tx NP can assist w / IP throughput (Transplant admin & coordinators can assist in navigating transplant candidate throughout. Coordinators call patients in for transplants but do not triage sick calls on acute transplant.
• Required Procedures : - Kidney Transplant w / o Recipient Nephrectomy - Preferred : Lap donor nephrectomy

• Other Info : - Locum is welcome to attend the weekly Selection Committee meeting. - Locum does not need to supervise NP.

• ASTS Certified (Transplant Surgery)
