The Public Relations Intern will be responsible for assisting the Public Relations team in developing and implementing communications and media relations strategies on a local, regional, and national level.

PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN (20-30 hours per week; can work around class schedule)

The Public Relations intern should have knowledge of public relations / communications as well as a strong writing and editing background. The intern will support St. Louis CITY SC's Public Relations team in various capacities, including :

• Assisting in the creation of media materials, including press releases, media alerts, fact sheets and Q&As.
• Monitoring, tracking and analyzing media coverage and assisting with the creation of weekly and quarterly communications reports.
• Researching industry trends, news and award opportunities.
• Creating and pitching feature ideas to local, regional, and national media.
• Supporting interview preparation, including creating strategic messaging and background information.
• Writing stories for internal and external audiences.
• Providing on-site assistance at media and club events.
• Developing / updating media lists and influencer outreach lists.
• Additional responsibilities, including matchday support, as assigned.
