About The Position

Job Title : Multimodality Tech (CT / X-Ray)

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred

License : State License required

Certifications :

• ARRT in Radiography (R)
• ARRT in Computed Tomography (C)
• BLS
• ACLS

Must-Have :

Description :

Multimodality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT.

Technologist must effectively explain the procedures to the patient.

It is essential to ensure patients are competent in the procedures being performed.

Technologist must produce images for the interpretation or request of a licensed practitioner.

Shift is three 12-hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30 with every third weekend required.

On-call requirements may apply.

Floating to similar units may be necessary to meet facility needs.

Clienttion safety protocols must be followed, including the provision of radiation badges.

Additional required skills include 3D rendering, various imaging techniques, and preparation of contrast media.

Interdisciplinary support is available within the hospital setting.

Special equipment includes Siemens X-ray and Siemens CT.

Travelers should be aware of potential emergency assignments during hurricane season.
