ROLE
SUMMARY
Maintain adherence to SSOP Plan, ensuring a thorough daily cleansing of the Production area in a timely fashion. Supervise hourly associates working in the Sanitation department. Ensure associate labor is used efficiently to complete daily, weekly and monthly detailed cleanings, coordinating with multiple departments to assure completion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility of this position is to directly supervise sanitation associates.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or higher; or two to four years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED TRAINING
This position requires training on Good Manufacturing Practices critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Training is also required
on how to identify food safety issues such as temperature control, cross-contamination, sanitation and cleanliness of the lines, etc., critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency.
