Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Cashier at the Aquarium of The Pacific. This position is responsible for the overall accurate accounting of all transactions, including inventory management and cash handling.

Duties and responsibilities include :

• Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory at the assigned concession stand.
• Performs location worker assignments.
• Stands for long periods of time.
• Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees.
• Plans for daily sales flow based on projections.
• Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Organizes paperwork including cashier physical inventory stand sheets, meal sheets, spoilage reports, and cash slips.
• Verifies the correct item prices according to the menu.
• Stocks and restocks products upon delivery to the location.
• Monitors proper recording of employees' meals and meal vouchers (if applicable).
• Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times.
• Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage operations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintains a clean, safe working environment.
• Complies with transfer and requisition, cash handling, and purchasing policies and procedures.
• Must have a valid California Food Handler Card and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificate.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
