G2IT Capture Manager (Digital Modernization & AI-Enabled Capture)

Target Compensation : $180K$220K base + performance-based incentive plan tied to pipeline, awards, and win rate
G2IT seeks a Senior Capture Manager to lead and execute our digital modernization capture strategy across DoD and Civilian markets.
This high-impact leader will own the huntidentifying, shaping, and winning prime and subcontract opportunities in DevSecOps, Cloud, Zero Trust, ITSM, and AI / ML modernization using AI-enabled tools to accelerate capture, proposal, and pricing efficiency.
Drive measurable growth by bringing and building a $2030 M qualified pipeline across G2IT's priority agenciesNavy, COCOMs, Treasury, and Commerceand expanding into adjacent missions.
Operate as a true hunter : 70% of your time in the field shaping deals, meeting customers, and positioning G2IT early.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Ownership & Capture Strategy
- Bring an existing, active pipeline of modernization opportunities aligned with G2IT's core agencies.
- Develop and execute account-based capture plans for :
- DoD : Navy, USMC, TRANSCOM, COCOMs, AF, ARMY
- Civilian : Treasury, Commerce, DHS
- Proactively shape opportunities 1218 months pre-RFP through direct engagement, industry days, and market intelligence.
- Balance 8(a) sole-source and competitive small-business pursuits to maximize near- and mid-term growth.
- AI-Enabled Capture, Proposal, and Pricing
- Use AI / ML tools to accelerate and sharpen capture outcomes :
- AI-assisted proposal generation and compliance mapping.
- Predictive price-to-win and cost-modeling analytics.
- Machine-learningbased competitor and evaluator profiling.
- Data-driven CPARS and past-performance mapping.
- Integrate automation into color-team reviews, ensuring faster, more accurate submissions and differentiated narratives.
- Customer & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, OSDBUs, OEMs, and large primes.
- Represent G2IT at AFCEA, NDIA, ACT-IAC, TechNet, and OEM Federal Forum events.
- Leverage relationships to establish G2IT as a go-to 8(a) modernization partner within target programs.
- Capture Discipline & Execution
- Lead the full capture lifecycle : win strategy, teaming, solution alignment, and proposal integration.
- Drive price-to-win, competitive analysis, and color-team oversight with a data-driven, AI-assisted approach.
- Collaborate with Proposal Analysts, BD Researchers, and the OEM Product Owner to ensure strategic alignment.
- Leadership & Culture
- Mentor junior capture staff in AI-assisted capture and pursuit discipline.
- Enforce G2IT's Sales Force Playbook process.
- Operate with high energy, accountability, and urgencya relentless closer who thrives in a fast-growth, mission-driven 8(a) culture.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of demonstrated success in federal capture with documented wins in digital modernization or IT transformation programs.Proven track record bringing and converting a live pipeline of prime and subcontract pursuits.Deep knowledge of FAR Part 19 and small-business acquisition strategies.Expertise applying AI / automation tools for capture management, proposal development, and pricing analysis.Strong relationships within DOD, COCOMs, Treasury, and Commerce environments.Excellent written, oral, and executive-briefing skills.Active or eligible Secret clearance.Performance Metrics
