Local Contract Medical Technologist - $28-36 per hour

Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract Medical Technologist for a local contract job in Panama City, Florida. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Medical Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 52 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Position Title Medical Technologist Position Name : Medical Technologist Facility Location : Panama City, FL Available Shifts : Days : 7p-7 : 30a (Rotating Weekends) DUTIES :

• Day-to-day duties include complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their results.
• You will also be responsible for specimen receiving and putting away supplies when received in the department.
• You will troubleshoot / resolve instrument problems and document corrective action in appropriate log and when necessary, perform instrumentation repairs.
• Assure that quality control is properly performed and logged and follow proper department procedure for corrective action.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to train new employees and / or students.
• You will actively participate in phlebotomy and the accession responsibilities. REQUIREMENTS
• MT experience preferred. Must have FL STATE license in hand OR IF applied already. - they are willing to train based on any years of experience had.
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology of Clinical Laboratory Sciences or related field.
• Medical Technologists (MT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist registry required to start.
• ASCP or equivalent is preferred.
• US Authorization to work is a requirement. Additional Information : Who does this position report to? Laboratory Manager and Supervisor How long has it been open? All have been open for 9 months.
