Quality Inspector - Mechanical - Level 2

We're actively seeking a Quality Mechanical Inspector for an immediate opening in Hialeah, FL . This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension. The role is full-time , Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week .

Key Responsibilities

• Verify that inspection equipment is capable of detecting defects and ensure inspection methodology is in line with drawing intent
• Work within the Quality Management system and undergo basic training on policies and procedures
• Ability to read and understand drawings to pull the dimensions to create Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
• Understanding of what inspection equipment and methodology would be needed to effectively measure / inspect different mechanical parts
• Ability to work in SAP to upload the ITPs for each part where one is created

Mileage reimbursement at the US gov't rate ($0.70 per mile driven). Untaxed.
