Job Description
Estimator – Central Ohio
My client, a well-established commercial general contractor in Central Ohio, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in preconstruction and support the delivery of successful commercial projects.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial projects from conceptual through final stages
- Review drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and requirements
- Develop accurate take-offs, material and labor pricing, and subcontractor comparisons
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving strategies
- Support bid presentations and client meetings
