Position Overview :
As a Systems Specialist, you will play a vital role in implementing advanced automation technologies across commercial and various industrial facilities. You'll bring expertise in platforms such as Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Tridium, Distech, and similar systems, directly contributing to our client's operational success.
Key Responsibilities :
- System Commissioning : Lead the startup and verification of PLC and DDC control systems, ensuring reliable performance and smooth integration.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving : Work closely with engineers, clients, and electrical teams to ensure seamless automation integration.
- Documentation & Quality Assurance : Maintain accurate, detailed records of system operations and modifications, ensuring all documentation aligns with the project status.
- On-Site Technical Leadership : Guide subcontractors, enforce quality control practices, and troubleshoot issues as they arise on-site.
Qualifications :
Experience : 3+ years with Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Tridium (Niagara), Distech, BACnet, or similar platforms (such as Inductive Automation Ignition, ICONICS).Technical Proficiency : Proven background in PLC / BAS installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.Specialized Knowledge : Strong understanding of HVAC control theory, electronics, and electrical circuits.Communication & Problem-Solving Skills : Effective communicator who can work independently and proactively address challenges.Preferred :
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Controls Engineering, Software Engineering,Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Computer Science.Experience with DDC controls, Modbus, Ethernet / IP, and BACnet protocols.Familiarity with Tridium or other BAS control systems.Experience with Active Directory and SAML 2.0.What We Offer :
