JOB SUMMARY :

Palm City Millwork is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the primary in-house resource for walk-in customers, contractors, and builders. This role is responsible for guiding customers through product selections, processing orders, preparing quotes, and ensuring exceptional customer service from initial inquiry through project completion. Unlike Outside Sales Representatives, this position is based at our office / showroom, focusing on walk-in traffic, phone / email inquiries, and in-house sales support. Prior knowledge of millwork products is highly preferred.

The Inside Sales Representative position serves as a pathway to an Outside Sales role, offering hands-on experience in sales support and customer interaction after transitioning into field sales responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers, contractors, and builders with product information and selections.
• Communicate with customers in person, by phone, and via email to provide timely support and service.
• Accurately enter and process customer orders, quotes, and proposals.
• Guide customers through product selections, including hardware, trim, doors, and millwork.
• Prepare written proposals and provide detailed project support from start to finish.
• Coordinate deliveries and scheduling with the Logistics team.
• Provide basic technical assistance and guidance regarding product installation.
• Assist walk-in customers with loading purchased materials as needed.
• Ensure all customer documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered promptly.
• Maintain strong customer relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities through quotes and service excellence.
