Lead Emergency Department Nurse Manager Position

This leadership role ensures evidence-based practice by professional nursing personnel in designated areas, guaranteeing quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating patient care in a cost-effective manner, while providing leadership and clinical management to the healthcare team.

The major responsibilities include :

• Patient Care (50%) : Assist the manager in delivering patient care, ensuring the application of the nursing process, and addressing concerns and resolving problems.
• Operations and Personnel Management (25%) : Maintain unit operations, participate in recruitment and evaluation of personnel, and ensure appropriate orientation and training.
• Professional Development and Leadership (15%) : Practice with medical staff, contribute to development of self and staff, and provide leadership and clinical management through clinical practice and supervision.
• Research and Evidence-Based Practice (10%) : Support evidence-based practice by participation and encouraging staff involvement in nursing evaluative research activities.
