Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Travel

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, ensuring high standards of clinical care and safety.
  • Float between Madonna Specialty Hospital and AR units as required.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Monitor ventilator patients (vent experience preferred, but not required).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Sunrise electronic charting system.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies.
  • Participate in unit and hospital quality improvement initiatives.

    • Patient Ratios :

  • Madonna Specialty Hospital : 1 : 4
  • AR Unit : 1 : 5–7

    • Requirements :

  • Current RN license.
  • IV therapy experience required .
  • Ventilator experience preferred .
  • Ability to work rotating nights with flexibility to float between units.
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

    • Schedule & Expectations :

  • No blocked scheduling.
  • Weekend coverage : 2 weekends required every 6 weeks.
  • Call-off policy : up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract without penalty or pay guarantee.

    • Other Information :

  • Scrubs : Clean and professional.
  • Guaranteed 36 hours / week.
