American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and required certifications for a day shift role in a collaborative procedural department.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an interventional radiology unit with close collaboration with the cardiac cath labPatient care involves radiology and cardiology proceduresDay shift schedule is 5x8 hours, Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM; flexibility is required for earlier or later proceduresCall is divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend, with a 30-minute response requirement when on callFloating may be required between interventional radiology and cardiac cath labWeekend call extends from Friday COB to department opening Monday morningMay be assigned to an Emergency Team with an expectation to stay on site during severe weather events such as hurricanesTeam-based environment with support between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab staff5-day orientation and required online modules included during onboardingTwo manager or supervisor references are required to clear for contract startCandidates who have worked in permanent or in-house agency roles must have a one-year separation before returning as travelersOn-call responsibilities can include coverage during after hours, weekends, and holidays\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience requiredARRT, BLS, ACLS certifications, and a current LA or Compact state license required; license required if applicableAll certifications must be from AHAFirst-time travelers will not be consideredCandidates must live at least 65 miles from the facilityAbility to respond to call within 30 minutesMust obtain Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing if not already held\n Benefits\n
