Job details at a glance : Pasadena Highlands is looking for dependable and caring individuals to join our team as Caregivers in Assisted Living and Journey Care.

Hiring bonus : $350 total ($175 paid at hire and $175 after 6 months of employment).

Responsibilities

• Based on assignments provided by supervisor, meet the personal care needs of residents including, but not limited to : assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, shaving, walking (with and without assistive devices), escorting, reminding, incontinence care, and room checks.
• Assist residents with dining services as necessary.
• Change linens as necessary and complete daily tidying in apartments.
• Provide companionship to residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in self-directed activities.
• Encourage and / or redirect residents with mild cognitive impairment.
• Seek assistance in performing duties as necessary and appropriate.
• Report and document personal care services rendered.
• Report any observations regarding resident condition or behavior and / or incidents to supervisor.
• Attend and participate in committees, training programs and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
