Pay Range : $25 – $35 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our service team. This individual will inspect, repair, and prepare pre-owned vehicles for retail sale, ensuring each unit meets McGraw Ford’s high standards for safety, appearance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough mechanical inspections on incoming used inventory.

Diagnose and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions, and electrical components.

Coordinate with the Used Car Manager and Service Advisor to prioritize workflow.

Ensure vehicles meet internal quality and safety standards before being listed for sale.

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and minor cosmetic repairs as needed.

Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to dealership safety policies.

Document all work performed and communicate additional service needs clearly.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an automotive technician (Ford or ASE certification preferred).

Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with modern scan tools.

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Compensation & Benefits
