The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, and non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications. High School graduate or GED.

Qualifications
Job Requirements :
2+ years of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs).
Completion of sterile compounding training / competency (as required by State BOP).
Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
Current BLS.
