Industrial HVAC Engineer

Overview

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. We have a full-time position available for an Industrial HVAC Engineer in the Food & Beverage Group.

Base pay

$95,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Conducting job-site surveys of food and beverage plant HVAC systems
• Define system sanitary requirements for food production spaces
• Determine equipment technology and strategies for moisture control and energy reduction
• Produce food process area heat load calculations for production, downtime, and cleanup modes
• Create psychrometric calculations and charts for food process area conditions
• Develop instrument points list and sequence of operation
• Developing project documentation including drawings, air flow diagrams, equipment schedules, details, specifications, scope of work, etc.
• Coordinating technical specifications, delivery requirements, and quotation parameters with outside equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
• Frequent (30-40%) travel will be required

Salary range : $95,000 - $115,000 - (Commensurate with experience)
