job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssociate's degree or equivalent, plus 5+ years of electronics testing experience (military / technical school training a plus). Proficiency in electronics theory (Ohm's Law, op-amp circuits, AC / DC converters). Hands-on experience with test equipment : oscilloscopes, voltmeters, function generators, ATE, ICD 2 / 3 / 4, CPLD, J-link, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers. Knowledge of computer applications relevant to the field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing / repairing complex issues. Ability to test, troubleshoot, and repair RF systems down to component level. Ability to interpret technical manuals and work with high-pressure, high-voltage, high-energy, cryogenic, or radioactive systems. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Pay Range : $30.78hr - $35.78hr
Responsibilities
- Set up, perform, and analyze experiments / tests following established product test procedures, recording results accurately.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electronic systems and equipment down to the PWA / component level.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics, wire diagrams, block diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals to perform repairs.
- Operate test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators for analysis and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuits down to the component level.
- Provide guidance and training to junior technicians on procedures, tools, and inspection techniques.
- Ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and tools to maximize efficiency.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the Supervisor as needed.
- Support additional duties and special projects as assigned.
