Sales Engineer
Job Description
As a Sales Engineer for Avitech, you will provide pre‑sale and post‑sale support of professional video equipment, specializing in live events, staging, and command and control operations. You have a keen interest in video equipment, computer systems, and network technologies. You have prior experience in any of the following markets : professional video, television broadcast, live production, staging, video security, house of worship video production, higher education video systems, call center, service operation center, and network operation center. Consistent professionalism and a solid technical understanding of our products are expected. You will conduct product demonstrations, respond to customer requests for information, and establish relationships with customers and business partners to identify requirements and opportunities. Strong communication skills are a must. You are expected to become well acquainted with our current products and stay current with new product releases. There will be domestic travel and some international travel. As part of a small team, you will be asked to take on other responsibilities. A proactive, self‑motivated, quick‑learning team player would thrive in this position. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or technology preferred.
