Scope / Purpose of the Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the buildings systems and infrastructure to ensure a safe, efficient, and fully operational environment. This includes routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency response across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systemsall while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, cost efficiency, and GMP compliance in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Primary Duties

• Perform building maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
• Respond promptly to work orders, document all repairs, and complete activities through the work order system.
• Act as a point of contact during facility-related emergencies (power outages, alarms, leaks, equipment failures).
• Coordinate and oversee external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and large projects.
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to Bakerlys Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
