Position Overview
The Commercial Printing Production and Packaging Associate plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the print production floor. This position is responsible for preparing, operating, and maintaining printing and finishing equipment, inspecting quality, and packaging printed materials for delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operation
- Operate and assist with commercial printing equipment (e.g., digital, offset, or large-format presses)
- Follow production schedules and job specifications accurately
- Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure color, registration, and finish meet standards
- Set up and operate finishing and bindery equipment (cutters, folders, laminators, stitchers, etc.)
- Troubleshoot basic printing and finishing equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
