The Housekeeping Supervisor's responsibilities include assigning tasks to the housekeeping staff, identifying and reporting cases of tardiness, and monitoring cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities :

• Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
• Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
• Overseeing staff daily.
• Checking rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness.
• Scheduling shifts and arranging for replacements in cases of absence.
• Motivating team members and resolving any issues that occur on the job.
• Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
• Responding to customer complaints and special requests.
• Monitoring and replenishing cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach, and rubber gloves.
• Participating in large cleaning projects as required.
• Informing management of any equipment or furniture in need of repair.
• Screening housekeeping applicants and recommending promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.
• Able to open and close the house when needed.
• Able to cover Room attendant / houseman callouts if needed.
• Perform any other duties requested by Management.
