GENERAL PURPOSE Conducts activities in support of large projects / functions or major business units. Performs financial analysis, forecasting and strategic support to senior management. Typical assignments include budgeting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and supporting business decision-making through data-driven insights. Participates the preparation of highly detailed and complex analyses and research for financial forecasts and projections. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Conducts activities in accordance with GAAP and established MillerKnoll guidelines. Conducts financial analysis through the application of advanced and / or specialized accounting and finance principles, concepts, theories and techniques. Contacts and networks with both internal and external sources to collect, validate, interpret more complex data, and leads communication of more detailed technical information. Continuously increases personal knowledge of the organization and personal business acumen through ongoing learning activities. Develops work strategies to achieve desired results and conducts activities with limited supervision. Confers with leadership on unusual issues or situations. Functions as senior financial analyst and key business partner with assigned client group(s) and segment of the organization. Works independently on complex problems / projects that are broad in nature requiring thorough understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals. Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives. ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Financial Planning & Forecasting Performs monthly and quarterly financial forecast updates, integrating business trends and performance drivers. Collaborate with business units to develop annual operating plans and long-term financial strategies. Financial Modeling & Analysis Builds, maintains, and enhances complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, product launches, or investment decisions. Conducts scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to assess risks and opportunities. Reporting & Variance Analysis Delivers timely and accurate financial reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs. Analyzes variances between, actuals, forecasts, and budgets; communicates findings and recommendations to leadership. Process Improvement Identifies and implement improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools. Supports automation efforts using tools like Tableau, Advanced Excel (incl. macros). Business Partnership Acts as a finance business partner to department heads, supporting them in understanding their financials and optimizing performance. Provides financial guidance and insights for strategic projects, cost control initiatives, and revenue growth opportunities. Education / Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance. 4 - 7 years of experience in a professional financial environment. Skills and Abilities Thorough knowledge and expertise in financial analysis. Experience in consumer goods or luxury retail. Familiar with data visualization tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Experience with financial systems like Adaptive, NetSuite, OneStream and Business Objects. Well developed interpersonal and communication skills. Advanced analytical skills necessary to analyze problems and generate new ideas and solutions. Skilled at identifying, defining and resolving problems, projects, and programs. Ability to accomplish desired objectives by influencing individuals at all levels. Self-starter who can work independently and within a team environment.
