We are seeking a California-licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team as a Project Manager in our Survey Department. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse land development and municipal projects while collaborating closely with our Survey Manager and field teams. Located in Carlsbad, CA. Full time, $130,000- $160,000 DOE.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage a variety of surveying projects from inception to completion
Schedule and oversee office and field survey crews
Coordinate directly with clients and survey staff to ensure quality and accuracy
Prepare and review boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys
Draft plats, legal descriptions, subdivision / parcel maps, and Records of Survey
Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to field survey teams
Perform QA / QC on all survey documents prior to delivery
Collaborate with civil engineering and planning departments
Assist in preparing proposals and estimates for new project opportunities
