LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Human Resources Business Partner for a construction company located in the Bothell, WA. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization by supporting employees and managers, driving HR initiatives, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary actions, terminations, and conflict resolution
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment
  • Lead onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for new hires
  • Manage employee data and records within the HRIS system; offer support and troubleshooting assistance to users
  • Facilitate training related to performance management, harassment prevention, EEO / AAP, leave administration, corrective action and termination.
  • Support recruitment efforts including candidate interviews, background checks, and applicant tracking
  • Partner with leadership to communicate and implement policies, procedures, standards and ensure compliance with applicable HR laws and regulations
  • Support HR compliance audits and ensure adherence to employment regulations

Qualifications needed :

  • 5 plus years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • Experience working in a blue-collar environment
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional disciplines
  • Ability to communicate complex policies and deliver engaging training presentations
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Benefits :

  • Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 80 hours a year with an increase after tenure, 6 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave (Washington State). PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
