Key Job Details – Florida Healthcare Jobs Location : Titusville, FL 32796 (Space Coast) Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital – Mixed Med / Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), 3 shifts / week (36 hours / week) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1260 - $1350 per week Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 (PCU-level patients) Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Floating : Required within nursing scope Orientation : 5 shifts (36–40 hours) in first week Charting System : Meditech Scrub Color : Any Parking : Free in any unrestricted space Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Tele or PCU nursing experience Active Florida or Compact RN license Certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS (or willing to obtain) Experience with 1 : 6 patient ratios and PCU-level care Telemetry and cardiac drip experience required; orthopedic / total joint replacement nursing preferred Adult and geriatric patient care experience Must reside more than 30 miles from facility (no local travelers) Ability to float within scope COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Completion of required modules (approx. 4 hours) prior to start RN Responsibilities – Clinical Support Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Med / Surg, Telemetry, and PCU units Manage 1 : 6 patient ratio, including PCU-level patients Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias Administer medications, including cardiac drips (no titration) Perform central / peripheral line care, wound care, and tracheostomy management Provide care for orthopedic and total joint replacement patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, social services) Float to other units within nursing scope as needed Document patient care using Meditech Complete mandatory orientation and training modules Discover the perfect blend of small-town hospitality and space exploration in Titusville, Florida.
