Approve or disapprove employee requests for vacation, sick leave, or leaves of absence. Ensure fair treatment of all employees. High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. At least 3 years of experience in a security-related field. Good knowledge of security equipment. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Understanding of management practices and internal controls. Experience in training and instructing. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. The Security Supervisor reports to the Security Manager. The Security Supervisor position is considered a safety-sensitive role. The primary responsibility of the Security Supervisor is to plan, organize, and coordinate daily security personnel activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Organize and assign work activities to security personnel.
- Recommend policy and procedure changes to ensure security.
- Prepare proposals for manpower and equipment needs.
- Assist customers and personnel in investigating criminal violations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
