Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry and specialized skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, utilizing advanced dental technologies, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality dental services while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
- Manage patient interactions with empathy and professionalism to foster a positive experience.
Experience
A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging is essential.Experience in performing various dental procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication is highly desirable.Strong understanding of infection control practices and patient care standards is necessary.
