Pay : $15.00 – $18.55 per hour

Trapper's Sushi is looking to grow our team by adding a new Dishwasher in Surprise, Arizona!

Dishwashers are tasked with collecting used dishes, plates, and utensils, loading washing machines, and stacking washed items appropriately. This position plays a vital role in creating an unforgettable dining experience by keeping the heart of the restaurant clean and organized.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas

Load and unload dishwashing machines

Wash specific items by hand (e.g., rice pots, very large cookware, delicate glassware)

Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately

Ensure dishes, glasses, and utensils are stocked, especially during peak hours

Maintain cleaning supply stock (e.g., detergents)

Check dishwashing machines and report any technical / performance issues

Remove garbage regularly and dispose of it per store procedures

Clean and sanitize the kitchen, bathrooms, and lobby as assigned

Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values

Experience and Qualifications

Work experience as a Dishwasher or in any restaurant capacity preferred

Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks as needed

Strong time management skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of sanitation rules

High school diploma a plus

Arizona Food Handler Card required before first day of work

Physical Demands

Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds

Stand for extended periods, walk, reach, lift, twist, crouch throughout shift
